message: Hi mandy68
I'm so sorry to read about what you are going through. I cannot help directly (I'm the web manager) but I thought I'd post you this link, which contains information that you may find useful - just in case it takes a while for other parents to find you on here.

message: hi mandy68,we got the news last April that my son had 2 months to live...there is no other worse feeling in the world then being told out of the blue that your precious child is about to die. I felt that a big black hole was about to suck me in and I was completely numb- especially as the previous day he had been chatting to me like normal and was now in intensive care on a ventilator!
He has confsed and surprised doctors by still being here today. His brain tumor has shrunk by well over half since the original diagnosis and remains extremely well.
I looked at lots of complementary treatments for him to supplement his chemo and radiotherapy. The doctors werent keen for me to do this, but I have used different therapies for years and they have been amazing.
There are lots of very simple treatments and info out there on the internet...our bodies get cancer because they are too acidic...by making them alkaline the cancer cells die. Wheatgrass is very effective, as is hemp oil, vitamin c intravenous injectons to name a few. I used somenthing called essiac herbal tincture (available at local health shops) that was very effective, amongst other things. Please keep positive and try and gain your power back, you will be amazed what might leap out at you when researching. I hope even just a part of this helps and would be more than happy to talk more, take care,

message: Hi
My little boy, Jack, aged 8 died from a brain tumour 2 years ago. He fought it bravely with determination for 11 months. It has left a huge hole in my life. I miss him and love him more every day. Life will never be the same again but with the support of my partner and my mum I am slowly rebuilding my life.

message: Dear mandi 68,& angelis, I am so sorry to hear what you are going through, a lovely person I know in my home town is going through the same with her beautiful daughter,It makes me so angry that we are not doing all we can to end this to do more research into this awful cruel illness, I get upset when I hear all the fund raising for "save the children" and red nose day, and if that sounds bitter then I am sorry what kind of world is it when a country like ours does not fund research into this suffering of our children, I wish you luck, and to samantha my heart goes out to you, I do not think there can be any worse pain than losing your child, i am so sorry, grace.
