On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May, Crow’s Hall in Debenham, Suffolk will be opening up its gardens to showcase a selection of East Anglian sculpture. Visitors will also be able to tour the grounds of this recently restored Grade II* listed Tudor Manor House and the beautiful adjoining 15th century barn. All proceeds on the day will be donated to CLIC Sargent.
The gardens at Crow’s Hall have been designed and landscaped by Lady Tollemache, a professional garden designer. There will also be an Arts & Crafts sale taking place in the ancient barn in the grounds. Pictures and sculptures will be available to buy to help raise funds for CLIC Sargent.
Barry Donovan, Committee Treasurer for the Debenham CLIC Sargent event, said “We are delighted that the owner of Crow’s Hall has kindly allowed us to hold our weekend event in such a beautiful setting. We hope to attract lots of visitors who are keen to learn more about their local artistic heritage as well as visiting the wonderful gardens at Crow’s Hall. By attending the event you can help us raise as much money as possible to support the ten children and young people diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia every day in the UK. Last year in Suffolk alone CLIC Sargent supported 44 families.”
Light refreshments and ample free parking will be available on the day. Entrance is free for children, adults will be asked for a small donation of £5 to gain entry.
