Occasionally we need volunteers to support the work of our Homes from Home, or to assist CLIC Sargent staff in supporting children, young people and families.  All of these opportunities will be posted below and range from one-off projects such as painting and decorating, to longer-term roles such as mentoring young people.

Paul's House- Volunteer Handy Man

Paul’s House is CLIC Sargent’s London Home from Home - Our Homes from Home offer families free self-catering accommodation close to the main Regional Children's Cancer Centres. If they are well enough, the child can stay too. The atmosphere is relaxed and non-clinical, friendly and welcoming. We are looking for enthusiastic and understanding volunteer to help us maintain a clean, organised and friendly environment for families.

To review CLIC Sargent publications for young people and their families to make sure they are appropriate for the target audience

Cruachan House- Housekeeper

Cruachan House is our Glasgow Home from Home- Our Homes from Home offer families free self-catering accommodation close to the main Regional Children's Cancer Centres. If they are well enough, the child can stay too. The atmosphere is relaxed and non-clinical, friendly and welcoming. We really need the support of an enthusiastic and understanding volunteer to support us with the very vital job of housekeeping. This will include: General housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, hoovering, assisting with bedroom cleaning and remaking of beds, ironing.
