To coincide with the launch of Children's Cancer Awareness Month, some of CLIC Sargent's Parliamentary supporters arranged for motions to be laid before both the Westminster and Scottish Parliaments to recognise the medical, emotional and financial impact that cancers and leukaemias can have on children, young people and their families. A list of MPs and MSPs who have signed this motion follows below.

New Parliamentary Motion recognises International Childhood Cancer Day, 15 February 2006
A second Parliamentary motion (EDM 1640) to draw attention to the cancer and leukaemia in children was tabled on 15 February in recognition of International Childhood Cancer Day.
