we're starting a chain of support and it starts with you

Stephen has been through so much

Today he is a healthy, happy 4-year-old but things were very different when he was going through treatment for Leukaemia.

In the three months after his diagnosis, he suffered a stroke as a side-effect of chemotherapy, his immune system took a battering and he contracted meningitis three times and pneumonia once.

Time together

When Stephen was going through treatment, we gave him and his family a respite break at our Holiday Home in Prestwick. This meant that the family could be together, and Stephen could be a child again, rather than a patient.

Please help us

By donating to our Christmas Appeal today, you will help another family affected by cancer to be together this Christmas. Families can stay in one of our Homes for as long as they need to, free of charge - and support eachother through this critical time.

Please write a message of support

This Christmas, we are also asking everyone to write a short message of support to families affected by cancer. We will then make your message into one link of a big paper chain of support which will decorate our Homes from Home and Holiday Homes this Christmas.

Please send your message of support by completing this brief form - and we will do the rest.

For families affected by cancer a few kind words can speak volumes.

Thank you.

Christmas appeal 2009

" This Christmas there will be lots of families like ours at CLIC Sargent's Homes from Home and Holiday Homes. What will be so precious to every one of these families - and what will help them through the ordeal - is the fact that they will be together. That's a very precious gift, I assure you.
