Fantastic support!

“I want to thank the fantastic CLIC Sargent supporters at mile 25. It was amazing to run by and get fantastic shouts of support just when we needed that last burst of energy to finish up."

A big thank you

“Just a quick note to say a very big thank you for the opportunity to run as part of the CLIC Sargent team in Sunday’s race. It was an absolutely amazing experience made all the better by feeling part of a team out on the course and the fantastic support during (as well as before and after) the race was a real inspiration.”

Post-race party

“I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone involved for organising such a nice post-race party, which was very welcome after the long run, and for all the support around the course as well. The showers were great, the food even better and the massage was possibly the highlight of the day!”

Wedding bells

“All of you were amazing and the organisation by you all was brilliant, from cheering points, giving directions, help at the Excel Centre and finally the incredible number you pulled off at the RAC club."

My story

“My daughter was diagnosed with cancer when she was five years old. Within two weeks of her diagnosis, we received a CLIC Sargent care grant which enabled me to continue my driving lessons so I could eventually drive to and from the hospital.

We were also given a much needed family holiday and a CLIC Sargent social worker – just knowing that there was someone on the end of the phone was an enormous help.

The thought that keeps me going while I’m running, is knowing that the funds I’m raising will help other families who have children with cancer.”
