The 2007 event was hosted by BBC Radio 1 stars Chappers and Dave and was held at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in London.
Over 550 guests dressed up in a touch of sparkle and enjoyed a Miller's Gin cocktail reception on arrival followed by a three course dinner with fine wines. There was entertainment throughout the evening including a champagne fountain, bingo and dancing until the early hours to the Casino Band, with a special performance from CLIC Sargent Patron, Barry McGuigan.
The auction included some fabulous prizes, such as a dinner for 10 cooked by the celebrity chef James Martin who had initially offered to cook dinner for one group but when two competing bids reached £19,000 and £20,000 he agreed to cook for both.
The evening was a great success and raised an amazing £120,000 to support CLIC Sargent’s core services.
