Home > Get involved > Fundraising and events > Special events > Previous events >On the 10th October 2007 24 teams took part in the 10th annual CLIC Sargent Golf Day at Sunningdale Golf Course.
The day started with a breakfast of bacon rolls and coffee followed by each team and their allocated celebrity completing head to head on the world famous old Course.
The teams then returned to the club house for a delicous three-course meal with fine wines. To round off the day an auction was held with some fantastic prizes such as a week's stay at Lord Anthony St John’s house at Pearl Valley in Franschoek, Cape Town.
Celebrity players included Keith Wood, Damon Hill, Susan Moon, Liam Brady, Luther Blissett and Chris Hollins as well as three members of the 2006 Ryder Cup Team – Paul McGinley, David Howell and Darren Clark. We also were privileged to have the actual Ryder Cup and Padraig Harrington’s British Open Cup on loan for the day.
The day was a great success and raised over £70,000 for the Charity.
