"I have been playing the violin since I was eight and have reached my grade 5. I play in the South Durham Regional Youth orchestra as well as my school orchestra. I am studying music GCSE and am playing the violin for my performance piece.

I am really pleased with my new Bridge violin as it is individual and unlike anyone elses. I especially love the gem detail and the really nice sound. I intend supporting the CLIC Sargent fundrasing and will promote the sponsored practice at my school".

I began playing the violin from the age of six, learning the Suzuki method with my teacher Heather Clemson. I have progressed through all the Birmingham Schools' Orchestras and currently play in the Bimingham Schools' Symphony Orchestra. I also play viola and piano and have enjoyed playing in the many concerts and courses over the years."

" I was really pleased that so many of my pupils who took part and they certainly felt they had benefited from the regularity of their practise. Not everyone can do a run or a parachute jump but this is something that everyone, irrelevant of their ability, can do to support a good cause. Also, no musician, amateur or professional is too big not to practise! " Rosemary Wright, Virtuoso Accordionist, Leicestershire

" Practice-a-thon is a really exciting initiative, I'm very proud to be part of it! I’m also really looking forward to going to Glastonbury and playing along side some very talented young musicians. " Linzi Stoppard
