What is Practice-a-thon?

Nicola Benedetti invites you to come and join over 50,000 children nationally, making music during Practice-a-thon. In its fourth year, we are looking to raise £140,000 for children with cancer and over £35,000 for schools and musical groups.

Supported by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Practice-a-thon is a fantastic way of encouraging more children to become involved in music and a great way to raise money for your school, music or youth group.

Practice-a-thon takes place from September to June and is a great way for musicians to prepare for exams, a performance, a competition or simply to improve.

Why not hold a post Practice-a-thon concert or assembly to thank everyone who has supported your students.

CLIC Sargent will provide you with a fantastic FREE event pack with everything you need, including: sponsor forms, stickers, parental consent form, event ideas and lots more.

If you are planning to hold a Practice-a-thon performance, make sure you tick to request an event pack which will also include balloons and banners.

Whether it’s for an exam or a production, encourage your students to join over 40,000 others across the country taking part and watch the fantastic progress they make!
