CLIC Sargent Nurses are specially trained children's cancer nurses. They are at the heart of our work , and part of our specialist care teams across the UK.

We need nurses
Many children spend around six weeks at a time in hospital having cancer treatment. This can last — off and on — for up to three years. 97% of children with cancer want to be able to come home during treatment. A lack of children’s cancer community nurses means that children are staying longer in hospital than they need to.

Help more families
Today we can only help two out of three families who need us. That's why we need you to run for us - to raise vital funds to support children and young people with cancer and their families, when they are not in hospital.

Run for CLIC Sargent and you will help fund not just nurses, but our whole range of services right across the UK.

Dress up and run
To support our nurses, the Charity is encouraging CLIC Sargent runners to run dressed as a nurse on the day. You can support our theme as much or as little as you wish, but you will be sure to make an impact!

More details about how to join our 'dress up and run' campaign will be available later in the year.
