Oxford gets ready for Spring in aid of CLIC Sargent!
The Cherwell Boathouse in Oxford will host the first black tie fundraising event to be held in the city for many years.
The CLIC Sargent Spring Fling is a very special event that aims to raise £30,000. Guests will be treated to a Pimms reception and a sumptuous sit down dinner and will then dance the night away to the fantastic local Jazz group, the Jazz Menagerie. The evening will also include a raffle and a charity auction and prizes include driving time at the Silverstone Grand Prix race track in a Porsche GT3 and a week's holiday in a villa in the south of France.
The venue has been kindly donated by Johnny Verdin in memory of his daughter who was supported by CLIC Sargent when she had leukaemia in 2006.
