A fantastic £3,000 has been raised for CLIC Sargent at the 48th Braintree & Bocking Carnival to help children and young people with cancer and their families.

The weather kept dry for this traditional carnival with floats, a carnival queen and princesses and proved to be a really popular day out for the family.

Of the money raised £1,400 came from the local Domnino Pizza takeaway, which kindly donated £1 for every pizza they sold at the event on the day.

A big thank you to the Carnival Committee and everyone involved in making the event such a great success.
