Richard Kemsley, retiring President of Sudbury Rotary Club, invited Karen Roberts, Community Fundraising Manager, to attend a luncheon at Sudbury Cricket Club. The event was held to mark the end of their fundraising activities in support of CLIC Sargent.
As well as being Richard’s chosen charity during his year of office, with a little gentle persuasion by Richard the Sudbury Fun Run also agreed to make CLIC Sargent one of the beneficiaries of their event.
Over £1600 has so far been received in sponsorship with more to come, in addition to the £500 received directly from the Rotary Club.
A big thank you to all the members and especially Richard for nominating the charity.
