The Eddie Irvine CLIC Sargent Go-kart Endurance Evening in Northern Ireland proved to be a massive success, raising a whopping £34,000 for children with cancer.

Eddie Irvine invited his friends to join him with some local corporates for a go-kart race at his special race track in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

His celebrity pals included Lady Victoria Harvey, Eddie Jordan -  who flew his band over to “jam” and Irish actor Liam Cunningham -  who flew over from China where he is currently filming Mummy 3.

The guests were treated to free food, drink and Champagne all night and also to a an auction with fantastic prizes - including tickets to the Amber lounge in the Monaco Grand Prix, which are impossible to buy.

The press coverage was fantastic, including BBC Ulster TV, radio, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Irish News, Independent, Sunday Life, Belfast Telegraph and even the New York Times.

A great night was had my all and next year's plans are already on track...
