Claire Burton of West Yorkshire Police and her colleagues Sian Joynes and Stu Thompson organised a Kick for Children with Cancer event on a hot June summer’s day. Seven schools joined them including Wigton Moor Primary School who were the runners up and Highfield Primary School who won the tournament.

The event took place at Wigton Moor Football Club where special thanks go to Sean and Emma who run the club and also helped out on the day. Also special thanks to Eat North East Homes who funded the trophies.

Well done everyone!
