4 September was the day the teddy bears had their picnic! CLIC Sargent’s second picnic was a huge success, raising a fantastic £6,000 to help children with cancer.
Teddy bears, friends and family revelled in glorious sunshine at the Balgove Larder grounds in St. Andrews and enjoyed stalls selling everything from local produce, crafts and jewellery and toy bears. Visitors were also kept entertained with fairground rides, slides, pony rides, model railway and a coconut shy.
For adults and children alike, the teddy bears had their own moment of glory in the Grand Parade.
CLIC Sargent would like to thank everyone who volunteered to make the event such a great success. The charity will be planning another picnic for 2012 - so watch this space!
