The UK’s leading performance improvement company Grass Roots has chosen CLIC Sargent to be their chosen charity for the next two years. The firm, based in Tring and Wendover, are hoping to hold monthly events to raise funds and encourage staff to volunteer for CLIC Sargent.
The relationship was kicked off by an Olympic inspired event at each office on 1st September and will continue as many of Grass Roots Directors spend a day at CLIC Court, CLIC Sargent's Oxford Home from Home, turning the bare, grassy garden into a place even Alan Titchmarsh would be proud of!
Sue Bowcock, Community Fundraising Manager, is very happy to be working with GrassRoots, she says: "Grass Roots are an inspiring company in the work that they do professionally and in their dedication to corporate social responsibility. I am really looking forward to working with them and am sure this relationship will be a great success."
The money raised will be used to help the 10 children and young people diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia in the UK every day and their families.
