On Tuesday 8 November, Ceris Bradley, CLIC Sargent Community Fundraising Manager, met three members of the Worshipful Company of the Livery of Saddlers at Paul’s House, our London Home from Home. Two CLIC Sargent Social Workers, Suzie Holmes and Melisha Green-Armitage, came to talk about the wonderful work they do and then give a tour of the house.
The company had chosen CLIC Sargent as their charity of the year and kindly presented us with a cheque for £6,354.53!
After seeing the house the members said they would like to help further in the future. This money will go a long way in helping children and young people with cancer and their families.
If your company or organisation would like to fundraise for CLIC Sargent, please contact Ceris Bradley on 0208 752 2867 or email ceris.bradley@clicsargent.org.uk.
