The 20th Great Western Canal Walk, organised by the CLIC Sargent Mid Devon Branch has raised £10,000 for children with cancer – proving the event’s continuing success.

More than 160 CLIC Sargent supporters – young, old, families, ‘fancy-dressers’ and dogs, walked the 10 mile route along the canal  path to enjoy the dry weather and help raise much need funds for the Charity.

All the walkers were rewarded with a wonderful hog roast and musical entertainment at the local village hall.

CLIC Sargent would like to thank Effi Mason, the Branch Chair as well as all the branch members who have helped to raise £20,000 over the past 20 years from this event. Special thanks also go to Kingdom Coaches for their long term support of this event. top of page
