Media and Events Students from Solent University hosted an event at The Orange Rooms in Southampton for a course assignment, raising £7373.53 for CLIC Sargent.
It was hoped that the masquerade-themed ball would raised £200 for children with cancer, so the students are delighted to have more than tripled their fundraising target.
The students wanted to choose a charity that works with children directly and decided on CLIC Sargent after looking at what we do to help children with cancer.
It was an amazing turn out and they were so happy at their achievement, the whole team visited our Southampton office to present the money. Thank you for all your hard work and congratulations!
