A national society that provides financial help to children and their families. Has holiday homes for crisis breaks.

CLIC Sargent (Grants)

We offer CLIC Sargent Grants of £150 to help with immediate financial needs. Exceptioonal Grants, Community Support Grants and Compassionate Grants are also available to some.

Family Fund

The Family Fund helps families with severely disabled children to have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life. They give grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons, hospital visiting costs, computers and holidays.

Leukaemia CARE

In certain circumstances, Leukaemia CARE can provide discretionary assisatance to patients and carers in need. This can include help towards utility bills, supermarket vouchers which can be used for food, or petrol for travel to hospital or small necessary household items.

REACT

REACT helps families caring for a child with an illness which is life threatening or has the potential to shortern their lifespan. Its purpose is to provide funding in situations where none is available elsewhere.

Tenovus Cancer Information Centre

 Welsh cancer charity taking cancer care, treatment and prevention messages into the community. The Tenovus Welfare Rights Officers are extremely experienced and offer a range of services to halp cancer patients and their families to find their way around the benefits system.

The Association of Charity Officers

The Association is the national umbrella body for benevolent charities which provide aid and advice to individuals in need. It provides a Helpline service for those in need looking for charitable assistance.
