While on treatment, some pupils will need to be off school for long periods of time, while others may be able to come into school fairly regularly. This depends on the type of cancer, the treatment they are receiving and how they are responding, and side-effects. This section lays out what your school can do to support the child with cancer and other pupils, and effectively communicate with teachers.
