message: hello,

our 3 year old daughter katie was diagnosed with this rare type of brain tumour a month ago. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who's child had the same problem? we are totally devastated by the news but are somehow managing to take each day as it comes. she had surgery 3 weeks ago and it paralysed down the right side and now unable to speak and we are not sure how much function will come back. she understands everything adn is managing to stay cheerful bless her.
does anyone else have experience of children recovering from brain surgery? it is so hard coping with all the uncertainty first of all about whether the treatment will work (we were told about 50/50 chance) and then about all the after effects of treatment. any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

message: Hi eslyderink, so sorry to hear what your family are going through. Try not to think to far ahead, and cope with it on a day-to-day basis, it all gets overwhelming otherwise, go back over the forums on this site and read all the possitive outcome, the treatment of childrens cancers are so much better now focus on that , and remember while your daughter is so young she will forget most if not all of what is happening which I am sure must help in her recovery I also used to think to myself how all the little cells in there bodies are renewing and replacing. We dont know what new medical advances await to help with the after effects of treatment surgery ect; Good luck ,..Gracie.x.

Yes the brain is an amazing thing, feed it with happy thoughts, laughter, ect.

Allopathic medicine would have the best its can to remove the tumour.

life force from organic uncooked pureed juice 20% Fruit and 80% Veg. would help boost dna and chi energy back into the little one's body system.

Lots of love and care the whole fam

Nick

message: Hi,

I realise that your post was a wee while ago and I hope that your daughter is faring well. Our daughter is also three and has been diagnosed with a high grade glioma. She had surgery and has been paralysed on her left side with no real improvement in the two and a half months since the initial operation. You are right about the uncertainty of the situation and we are just about to embark on radiotherapy and chemo simultaneously as there has been a delay due to various shunt issues resulting in her having five operation in six weeks. You wonder just how much more they can cope with. Anyway, I really do hope for a positive outcome for your daughter and if you are able to share your experiences it would be much appreciated.

Best wishes.
