message: My 15 year old has RMS Alveolar, and we are in the U.S. I am interested in seeing how the care is in the U.K. I'm interested in hearing about the different chemotherapy that are being used, and how it is coming. We are on a clinical study using the ARST 0431 protocol, which is a series of medicines. We don't have a primary source, it did metastatic to her bone marrow. She is doing well with medications with little side effects. LUCK TO ALL>

message: Hello , I hope that your child is doing well, My son was diagnosed at 8 years old with ARMS in the nasopharnyx , basically next to his carotid artery , making surgery impossible. It had not went to his bone marrow but was in nearby lymph glands and was measuring to a size it was deemed stage 4. This is the trial that he was on http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/trials/a-trial-looking-at-the-treatment-of-children-and-young-people-with-rhabdomyosarcoma
, he was in the high risk group and received chemo with radiotherapy and then maintenance chemo . He is at school right now .. best wishes x x x
