Home > About us >We’d like to introduce you to our brand new friend - the finger puppet!
He plays a vital role in helping young children with cancer feel less scared about their treatment.
In the hands of a CLIC Sargent Play Specialist, our puppet becomes a friend who can explain anything and everything, so a young child with cancer can understand what is happening to them.
This finger puppet has been created to help us tell everyone about the impact of childhood cancer and how our work helps children, young people and their families through treatment and beyond.
As well as his cinema advert, he'll soon have his very own Facebook page and YouTube channel so you can follow his adventures.
He is a finger puppet who has everything .... apart from a name.
Can you help?
Thank you to everyone who sent in a name suggestion via this page or our facebook page!
A team of children from our Children and Young People's Advisory Group will be creating a shortlist from these suggestions and we will soon be holding the online poll to name our puppet on our facebook page.
If you sent in a suggestion and left your email, we will soon be letting you know the final six names and showing you where to vote. If you haven't you can sign up to our facebook page now and you'll be updated when the vote begins.
